Description of the holiday park
The holiday resort Füssen is one of the most famous cities in the Allgäu. The historic old town, with its small shops and quaint restaurants and cafés, has a unique flair. In medieval times, violin making made Füssen famous. Today, people connect it to ice skating, castles and musicals. Five large lakes, a shipping route, an ice skating and tennis centre, an indoor swimming pool, glider airfield, wind-surfing and sailing school, mountains peaks that reach 2000 metres and the neighbouring Tirol are just a few of the highlights of Füssen. The opportunities to experience nature, local culture and art exhibitions are nearly inexhaustible. The holiday village Weissensee is located circa 5km from Füssen's city centre. Weissensee is a small part of the city, which shares its name with the beautiful lake. The holiday park with 34 homes is settled neatly in the garden town.
