The parish Wendisch Rietz is situated south-east from Berlin, ca. 60Km from Germany's capital. The town is located at the southern end of the Scharmützelsee lake, which is the largest lake in Brandenburg (12km long). Wendisch Rietz is an officially recognised spa resort. |

Description of the holiday park
The Scharmützelsee holiday park adjoins to one of the most beautiful beaches of the lake. The Marinapark Scharmützelsee is located directly next to it – around the harbour. The Scandinavian-style houses offer room for 4 to 8 people with sizes of 70sqm to 10 sqm. The light-flooded interior offer high comfort. In case the sun does not shine, relax in your own in-house sauna (in some houses even with jacuzzi) or at the woodstove. The holiday park is opened all year and is an ideal starting point for many activities. With vast forests surrounding the sea and well developed bicycle paths, you have no excuse to spend the day inside. A large range of bicycles can be rented at the holiday park. For all kinds of water sports two water sports centres will help you with equipment and guidance. At the site of the holiday park you will find a beach volleyball field and an adventure playground. A mini golf course, a petting zoo and the aquarium are all within walking distance. During the main season, we offer children's entertainment to keep your children happy and to give you some free time. It is also an ideal starting point for day trips to Berlin, Potsdam, Dresden and the Spreewald nature park.
