"Die Ferienanlagen" is a cooperation between a tourism business consultant and independently owned holiday cottages, holiday parks, holiday villages and holiday resorts (with sizes from 40 to 4000 beds) in Germany. It was founded in May 2000 and today it's associated with 27 organisations with circa 4600 houses and flats and 21,000 beds in 43 locations.
The purpose of the cooperation is to maintain a common marketing platform to allow guests to easily find family-friendly, attractive destinations and accommodations in Germany. Our guests benefit from collective advertising as it reduces the individual advertising costs and therefore the proce of accommodation. We also want to attain a higher booking rate for our associates so that they can hold their ground against the big chains. On a long-term basis, we plan to launch an umbrella brand to give our guests better value for single holiday houses and hotels.
On top of this, we hold regular meeting to exchange experiences on topics like taxes and legal questions, employee trainings, service enhancement, IT, business training, purchasing, etc.
