"Moin"; this is a very short greeting typically used in this region of Germany. It fits every situation and at every time of the day. The area is undisturbed and very natural. You will find nothing but calm, relaxation and recreation when hiking or cycling along the North Sea or visiting the romantic, small villages in the vicinity. The numerous windmills are witnesses to the 600-year history of "Krummhörn" and help create its special, romantic atmosphere. |

Description of the holiday park
Nine row houses are located next to Greetsiel's historic centre – a central, but quiet location. The wellness centre and all the other facilities you’ll need for a perfect holiday are located within walking distance. Up to 6 persons (sometimes up to 8) can stay in these cosy, family-friendly furnished houses. 70 sqm of floor space is intelligently divided (spacious living room, 2-3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower/WC, etc.). Every house is equipped with colour TV, most have a telephone, accessories for children, a terrace and a storage space for bicycles and garden furniture. The sun shines on the terraces throughout the day. Restaurants and shops are close by as well as in Greetsiel's centre. We are family-friendly... Children are welcomed. But our family-friendliness doesn't end there. All the houses, apartments and facilities are suitable for children; children beds and chairs are complimentary and our staff treats children as our most honoured guests. Holiday home type A for maximum 6 people has 2 bedrooms. For a 5th and 6th person there is a comfortable bed sofa (additional cost for more than 4 people). Holiday home type B for up to 4 people has lots of space. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with a bathroom, on the ground floor there is a living room with comfortable couch, a fully equipped kitchen as well as an additional WC. Surroundings
Greetsiel's fishing harbour with its sailed, fishing cutters. On the shoreline you will see a historic street with beautiful merchant homes from the 17th century. You can watch the fishermen doing their work, walk the town's picturesque alleys, take a boat to explore the network of channels, eat fresh fish and discover all the things that this region by the sea has to offer. Greetsiel is known as the North Sea's oasis for health. The motto "Healthy delight at it's best" is followed all year long. And this is especially true at the wellness centre. With a 30°C swimming pool, several saunas, solarium and a spa you can indulge yourself seven days a week. Next door to the wellness centre, children can enjoy themselves in the kid's house where they can do handicrafts, sing, play, make friends and explore the "adventure" playground. Amidst this scenic oasis, we will soon offer another oasis: the vacation homes of Greetsiel. On 'Kleinbahnstraße', next to the town's historical centre, nine new semi-single houses are being built. From there location, it's only a few steps to the wellness centre and all the things you would expect to find in a holiday village.
