Description of the holiday park
The nearly car-free park at Silbersee Lake is located circa 40 km south of Kassel, surrounded by tree-covered hills. Stressed parents can find calm and relaxation, while their children, regardless of age, can romp around freely. Our small guests are entertained in the Happy Kids Club; they can discover one of the numerous playgrounds in the park or can get creative with street art – which by the way is also appealing to our adult guests. Everybody can find his or her favourite activity in the wide variety of offers. Take for instance mountain-biking, boat trips, mini-golf, lake diving, archery, a wilderness camp, corn labyrinth, horseback riding, horse and carriage rides, bowling, swimming in the lake or the indoor pool, sauna, solarium, fun court (all ball games), playgrounds, athletic courts, boule, guided hiking tours, cycling and night-time hiking. 136 units are divided into homes and apartments for 2 to 8 people, all fully equipped. Every unit has satellite TV, most have fireplaces. Bed linens and 2 towels per person are included. 2 washing machines and a dryer can be found in the main building. Sunshades, lounge chairs and clothes drying racks can be borrowed from the reception area. A supermarket is located in the holiday park. Our holiday village is (nearly) car-free. However, driving in for loading and unloading is allowed. During your stay we offer free and centrally located car parking. Interesting sights. In Frielendorf: Schnapps distillery, museum shop, monastery chapel and "Spies Tower". In the aera: Wild animal park Knüll (10 km), Medieval towns (Homberg, Schwalmstadt, Fritzlar, Melsungen), Kassel with Wilhelmshöhe Castle, Borken (mining museum) and much more.
